The research investigates the extent to which government immigration systems either restrict or allow the entry/settlement of ‘people who bring their partner/other dependents with them’ – particularly in terms of whether they will be able to work in the respective country.”
This article on Fragomen’s analysis of global trends in dependent visas, also features Permits Foundation and NetExpat. The article shows that the trends are positive with a resulting benefit for host countries. However, it is important for countries to maintain best practice.
