Permits Foundation conference rounds-off a memorable 20th anniversary year
16 December 2021On 9 December we celebrated a milestone year of advocacy for international dual careers at our 20th Anniversary Conference.
This online event featured a keynote from US Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren, a discussion with our Patrons Peter Voser and Satish Pai led by Chair Gill Gordon, a panel on some of our top level survey findings hosted by our Board Member Julia Onslow-Cole with reflections from four of our sponsors, a celebration video featuring our supporters and friends, a summary of our advocacy progress and success from Director Helen Frew, insights from network experts in our six priority countries (US, China, Ireland, South Africa, India and Singapore). Foundation Coordinator Francoise van Roosmalen provided examples of the difference that can be made where dependants have direct work access in the host country, including an interview with Yvonne Quahe.
